Copycat Neapolitan Oreo “McFlurry”

If you are stuck at home but craving an Oreo “Mcflurry”, I’ve got you with this quick, easy, healthier, plant-based Oreo “Mcflurry'' recipe.

When I was grocery shopping a few days ago, I came across these limited edition, triple-layered Neapolitan Oreos and was so ready and excited to try them. I knew I wanted to make a recipe using these Oreos and luckily yesterday I came across a Mcdonald’s ad which gave me the perfect idea: Copycat Oreo “Mcflurry”.

This creamy, delicious, frozen delight is the perfect summer treat to enjoy with family and friends. This recipe also has no added sugar (other than the Oreo itself) and is dairy free so it is great as a light but satisfying dessert!

Ingredients:

*1/3 cup ice

*1/2 cup almond milk

*1/4 cup coconut cream

*2 oreos

*1 scoop protein powder (optional but highly recommended)

*Pinch of salt

*2g Xanthan Gum (optional, this ingredient helps to thicken the ice-cream but adding more ice will result in a thicker texture anyways)

Method:

  1. Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until you get a smooth, thick and creamy consistency.

  2. Feel free to top the “Mcflurry” with extra oreos.

  3. Enjoy!
